By accessing and using Ajanta ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.
Description of Service
Ajanta is a personal reading companion and library management application designed to help you organize, track, and enhance your reading experience. The Service allows you to:
- Catalog and organize your personal book collection
- Track your reading progress and notes
- Discover new books and authors
- Access reading-related features and tools
User Responsibilities
As a user of Ajanta, you agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Respect intellectual property rights of authors and publishers
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, modify, or distribute the Service
- Not use the Service to violate any applicable laws or regulations
- Maintain the security of your device and any data stored locally
Intellectual Property
Ajanta and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Bharath Krishnan and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
The Service may provide access to book information, covers, and metadata from third-party sources. Such content remains the property of its respective owners and is used under appropriate licenses or fair use provisions.
Privacy and Data
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle your information. In summary:
- We do not collect personal data by default
- Your library and reading data are stored locally on your device
- If you sign in with Google, we process limited account info (ID, email, display name, and tokens) to enable authentication and future sync features
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 where required by local law) to use the Service.
Service Availability
We strive to provide a reliable service, but we cannot guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or technical issues. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the Service at any time.

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to:
- Merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose
- Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of information
- Uninterrupted or error-free operation
- Security or freedom from viruses or other harmful components
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.
Indemnification
